Shoemaking Workshop

Our monthly shoemaking workshops are a fantastic opportunity to spend a day in our workshop, making your own pair of desert boots from the original Green Shoes range. Whether you're a novice or an aspiring shoemaker, the skilled artisans at Green Shoes will provide guidance, support, and all necessary materials for you to craft your own special boots. This unique opportunity guarantees a one-of-a-kind experience and serves as an excellent gift idea too.

What can I expect?

On a Green Shoes' workshop you will experience the whole shoemaking process, from choosing your leather and hand-cutting your shoes using simple patterns. As you progress, you will use specialist sewing machines to top-stitch and assemble the shoe upper. Finally, having force-lasted you shoes, you will leave them with us to add the soles. Your finished shoes are then posted to you within the week.

The workshop runs from 9.30am - 5.00pm. Tea and coffee are provided, but lunch is not included so you'll need to bring a packed lunch or visit the local shops, all a short walk away from our workshop.
